Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to provide safe, timely, and professional transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles, ensuring passenger and cargo safety, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic laws

Transport staff, clients, goods, or materials as assigned

Ensure punctual pick-up and delivery at designated locations

Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, etc.)

Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all times

Report mechanical faults or accidents promptly

Maintain accurate travel logs and mileage records
-
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required

Follow company policies and instructions from supervisors

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications

Valid Gambian driver’s license
-
Proven driving experience (minimum of 2 years preferred)

Good knowledge of roads and routes within The Gambia

Ability to read and understand basic instructions

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physically fit and able to work flexible hours

High level of honesty, reliability, and professionalism
Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

Defensive driving skills

Experience driving official, commercial, or 4×4 vehicles

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Working Conditions

May require occasional weekend or after-hours work
